Kim Helman

At the age of 18, Kim Helman started working for Carats as an office assistant.  

This was 12 years ago...

Today, Ms. Kim Helman is the President of Carats – The Colored Diamond Company.
 

From the beginning, Kim displayed an interest and ability to work in all aspects of the company, including sales, customer support, diamond buying & valuation and eventually ring design.

While taking an active role in business administration, Kim also led the Internet Development of the company as it became positioned in the competitive world of online jewelry and gem stones.
 

Helman became president in the spring of 2009 and is a driving force behind the company.  Not only is she a talented diamond consultant but she is exceptionally driven and holds a deep knowledge and understanding of the diamond industry.
 

She received extensive GIA (Gemological Institute of America) training, which further enhanced her growing expertise.

Ms. Helman has since become the top salesperson on the company's team.Her professionalism and determination have increased Carats’ reputation and position among the top wholesale Canadian diamond merchants.

She can often be seen making Television appearances such as Urban Rush, Wedding Belles to name a few.
