October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

This year, throughout October, Carats will donate a portion of the proceeds from each pink diamond sold to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. See our collection of pink diamonds.

As Canada's leading distributor of pink diamonds, it is a natural fit for us to support the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation (CBCF), which uses the colour pink to raise awareness about breast cancer. As such, Carats is donating the profits from a series of 8 limited edition diamond pins to the CBCF in honor of the foundation's 2020: Future Without Breast Cancer' initiative.

Designed by VCC student and breast cancer survivor Kim Balsillie, the ribbon-shaped pins each contain white diamonds and a single, rare pink diamond set in 18 karat white gold.

Carats auctioned off the first pin at the Nights of Hope fundraiser on April 2, 2009 in Richmond, BC with all proceeds going to the CBCF. The remaining limited edition pins are available for sale on request.
